Non-Registered Patients

Everyone can attend the GHAC.

For example, if you work in Gloucester but live elsewhere, you may find it convenient to attend the GHAC for some health care. You will remain registered with your own GP as normal.

You will still need to make an appointment to reduce any waiting time, as this can be long during busy periods.

The Services we offer

  • Full general medical services
  • Contraception and Sexual health
  • Blood pressure & weight checks
  • Smoking Cessation Guidance

This service is open to anyone who lives in Gloucester, the surrounding areas and to visitors. In addition, people who live in central Gloucester can choose to register with GHAC for their GP services.

Is there a Charge?

Our services are provided under the NHS and so are free of charge for anyone entitled to NHS care. There are a small number of areas of service (some travel vaccinations for example) which are not covered under the NHS and we would have to charge you in the same way as any other practice. We will tell you in advance if any charge applies.

If you are visiting from abroad and not entitled to care under the NHS, we can provide you with care but there will be a charge.

For further information, please contact reception.

International Visitors

The Gloucester Health Access Centre welcomes International patients.

For non-Commonwealth Countries, a consultation charge, and if applicable, prescription charge will apply.

Please speak to Reception for further details.
